As a public relations leader with more than a decade of experience, I work with organizations to create communications strategies that build profile and enhance reputation.

My specialty is uncovering what makes you and your brand unique—and crafting a compelling narrative that gets journalists excited about telling your story, too.

My background

I’m a former journalist turned public relations professional who currently resides on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, Canada.

As a journalist, I reported for major daily newspapers across Canada, including The Province, Calgary Herald, Postmedia News, and Metro. My journalism experience gives me invaluable knowledge of how newsrooms work and the stories journalists want to cover.

In 2016, I officially made the jump to public relations and never looked back. I have worked with clients from a variety of sectors, including tourism, museums and real estate.

By day, I work as a senior media strategist for a highly ranked research and higher education institution. My pitches have been picked up by countless top-tier media, including the New York Times, Washington Post, The Guardian, and the Toronto Star.

In my free time, I help start-ups and businesses with a range of PR services, from strategic communications planning to media training and media pitching.

My specialty is uncovering what makes you unique and crafting a compelling narrative that gets journalists excited about telling your story.
